On 26–27 August 2025, the BSBCC team participated in the Heart of Borneo (HoB) Roadshow organized by the Sabah Forestry Department. This programme was held in Telupid district, focusing on students and the local community living around the SFM Pintar in Tawai Forest Reserve.
On Day 1, the team conducted activities with students from
SMK Telupid and several other secondary schools. The activities continued on
Day 2 at Kampung Telupid Hall, where the local community gathered to gain
insights into conservation efforts, responsible forestry, and the protection of
the Heart of Borneo landscape.
The roadshow provided a valuable platform to inspire
awareness and action among both youth and community members, fostering shared
responsibility in protecting forests, wildlife, and the rich biodiversity of
the Heart of Borneo.
