BSBCC was once again invited to World Elephant Day 2026, organised by Earthworm Foundation and were held at Kampung Penangah, Tongod. The event included lots of other agencies and department, with some local community-based groups also present. The event brought the local communities around the Penangah area to come and learn about the conservation of the Bornean elephants that could be seen in the area. Ultimately, the conservation of wildlife will include the whole wildlife in the forest and the people living near to them. It is essential to bring people to seek for the balance of human and wildlife harmony together.
