2026-08-(04-06) Outreach To Ranau

On the 4th-6th August 2026, we went to 3 schools in the district of Ranau the spread the words of the sun bears. The schools, SK Bongkud, SK Langsat, and SMK Timbua, hosted our delegation consisting of Sabah Wildlife Department (SWD), Sabah Forestry Department (Rainforest Discovery Centre), Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre (SORC), Seratu Aatai, Sabah Nature Club, Orangutan Appeal UK, plus a delegation from Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF) as one of the funders of our programme.

Here are some of the moments captured during the whole 3-days programme, filled with excitement from the students, with our hope they will understand why it is important for us to nurture loves to our environment and wildlife. Each agency, departments and organisations engaged the students through various means with the same objective of creating the future where wildlife, animals and nature live together in harmony.
