On 26th of September 2024, the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) was invited to participate in the World Elephant Day Celebration at Desa Talisai, KLK Sawit Nusantara, Beluran, Sabah. This event aimed to raise awareness about elephant conservation among local primary and secondary students, with participation from the community. We are thrilled to highlight our sun bear conservation efforts since 2008. Wildlife conservation is a collective endeavor, and educating the younger generation is a crucial starting point. Together, let’s ensure a brighter future for our wildlife species! Thank you to the Sabah Wildlife Department and KLK Sawit Nusantara for this opportunity and for including us in the celebration!
