BSBCC Annual Dinner "Retro Night" 🪩

Last night (24 January 2026), Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre celebrated our Annual Dinner with a Retro Night theme! 🪩💃🏻🕺🏻

We were honoured by the presence of Datuk Frederick Kugan, Chief Conservator of Forests of the Sabah Forestry Department and BSBCC Board of Directors, along with his wife Datin Rosita Patrick Limy, and Dr Wong’s family who joined us for this special evening.

This special evening was held to appreciate the incredible hard work and dedication of all our staff throughout the year. From the excitement of the lucky draw session, to honouring our senior staff member with a 10-Year Service Award in recognition of a decade of unwavering commitment to BSBCC, the night was truly meaningful! The energy continued with amazing singing performances by our talented staff, making the atmosphere even more lively and unforgettable. And of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without the much-anticipated Best Dressed announcement!

Thank you to every member of the BSBCC family for your passion, dedication, and tireless efforts in protecting and saving the Sun Bears. As 2026 unfolds, we hold hope for a better year for Sun Bears, especially as Visit Malaysia 2026 proudly names the Sun Bear its official mascot. Together, we continue to protect, care, and stand strong for their future! 💪🏻
