Wild Weekend at the Library – Wildlife Warriors: Protect Our Animal Friends
The Wild Weekend at the Tanjung Aru Library, Kota Kinabalu
event aimed to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and endangered
species in Sabah through engaging and educational activities for participants
of all ages.
The program included a variety of activities: a storytime
session, an interactive presentation on endangered species, group activities,
and walk-in activities such as colouring and exploring stations: habitat craft
corner, save the animal, animal puzzle hunt & animal book hunt.
Overall, the event was well-received and successfully
achieved its objective of fostering a deeper understanding of the importance of
wildlife protection within the community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Danau Girang Field Centre
for organizing this meaningful and interactive event and for inviting us to
participate. It was an enriching experience for everyone involved.
